Job summary

Pacific University seeks an experienced IT professional to support the technology needs of students, faculty, and staff across Pacific Clinics. You will diagnose issues with accounts, software, hardware, printers, and mobile devices, and provide training to optimize workflow and education.

The role requires knowledge of EHR systems, clinical terminology, and the ability to work across Windows and macOS environments, with occasional travel to remote clinic locations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Electronic Health Records use, teaching or support.
• Experience in a clinical setting and familiarity with medical terminology, procedures and processes.
• BA or BS required, preferably with a major or certificate in healthcare administration, health information management, health information technology or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversees installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of client and server software/hardware for clinics; travel to remote locations.
• Provides training and supports users to improve workflow and education.
• Maintains security-compliant workstations, data backups, and data migration.
• Acts as liaison between clinic management and vendors for troubleshooting.
