Job summary

Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR seeks a Technical Support Specialist to assist students, faculty and staff with electronic health records, clinic software, hardware and accounts. Travel to remote clinic locations is required.

The role installs, configures, maintains software/hardware, troubleshoots issues, trains users, and collaborates with clinic leadership to optimize technology systems while ensuring security policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Electronic Health Records use, teaching or support.
• Experience working in a clinical setting and familiar with medical terminology, procedures and processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversees installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of client and server software/hardware for clinics; travel to remote locations.
• Determine system specifications, document configurations, and develop new processes for clinical systems.
• Analyze clinical systems design and architecture; implement modifications and improvements.
• Provide ongoing support of clinical workstations, servers, and diagnostic equipment; troubleshoot with end users.
