Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking an entry-level Health IT End User Devices professional to provide onsite technical support and troubleshooting to customers. The role involves travel to regional hospitals and clinics, with a mix of hybrid and onsite duties, and collaboration with IT/Clinical teams.

The position emphasizes novice maintenance, basic OS configuration, and adherence to security policies, supporting a broad set of devices and software applications across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Entry-level IT support experience or equivalent demonstrated in role descriptions.
• Able to interpret and follow technical documentation and diagrams.
• Willingness to travel to regional hospitals/clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide entry-level desktop support to customers.
• Perform administrative duties including technical documentation, inventory, etc.
• Assist team members and customers and elevate issues when necessary.
• Analyze and validate business and technical requirements to ensure systems perform optimally.
• Install and configure operating systems of low complexity.
• Execute infrastructure and system upgrades, patches, enhancements and bug fixes.
• Follow security policies and regulatory governances.
• Perform standard duties for expansions/projects for IT hardware and connected devices at a basic supervised level.
• Additional duties as assigned by superiors.
