Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, Allied Health, Information Systems, or related field (required).
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or other healthcare discipline in New York State (required).
• Minimum of 3 years healthcare related clinical experience (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant healthcare informatics experience (required).
• Master's degree in Health Informatics highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with management and clinicians in designing, implementing and maintaining clinical systems.
• Documents current processes to establish a baseline for developmental improvements of future workflows.
• Acts as a liaison and represents the system users/customers in all project initiatives.
• Participates in interdisciplinary and process improvement teams to optimize system use.
• Supports data analytics, including quality of care measures, to improve population health outcomes.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, Allied Health, Information Systems, or related field

Master’s Degree, preferred
