Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Clinical Informaticist to support the integration, optimization, and maintenance of clinical information systems at the facility level. You will collaborate with clinical staff and IT teams to enhance workflows, documentation, and patient care quality, and you will train staff on effective system use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in nursing, healthcare admin, informatics, IT, or related field.
• A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Master's degree in health informatics preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in clinical informatics or healthcare IT, preferably at the facility level.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with facility clinical teams to implement and optimize clinical information systems.
• Analyze workflows and processes to identify system improvements.
• Provide training and support to clinical staff on system use and compliance.
• Troubleshoot facility-related issues with clinical software with IT/vendor teams.
• Monitor system performance and gather user feedback for improvements.
• Assist with testing, upgrades, and new feature implementations.
