Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to support clinicians across facilities, optimize EHR workflows, and enhance patient safety through data-driven workflow improvements.

You will collaborate with IT, training, and clinical leadership to implement system upgrades and ensure high-quality documentation and operations. RN or RRT preferred; Epic experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare related discipline
• 3+ years of clinical experience
• 2+ years of healthcare informatics or equivalent role
• RN or RRT preferred
• Proficient with EMR systems (Epic preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide independent clinical informatics support to clinicians across assigned facilities.
• Resolve moderate to complex EHR issues and support workflows.
• Lead workflow validation, redesign and optimization to improve clinician efficiency and patient safety.
• Collaborate with IT, clinical operations, and training teams on system upgrades and go-live events.
