Job summary

Vitruvian Health seeks a Clinical Informatics Nurse who coordinates and supports clinical information systems across ambulatory and outpatient settings. You will work with medical staff to optimize EMR usage, with emphasis on Epic-driven workflows and documentation.

The role involves change management, staff training, and acting as a liaison between centers, Epic support, and Information Services. RN licensure and Epic familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Clinical Informatics, Nursing, Information Systems, or related field.
• Current Georgia RN license required; BSN preferred.
• 3 years of professional RN experience supporting EMR and clinical applications.
• Experience with IT project development, project management, and staff training in a hospital system.
• Epic certification required or must attain within 90 days of Veg Vitruvian Health Epic training.
• Experience with Epic Clinical Informaticist certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, design, develop, implement, and support clinical information systems across ambulatory and outpatient settings.
• Provide clinical and technical support to medical providers and staff for effective use of information systems.
• Contribute to workflow design and change management, and develop user training.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify workflow improvement opportunities.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care within clinical applications and support staff education.
• Serve as primary liaison between ambulatory centers, Epic support, and Information Services.
