Oak Street Health is looking for a Medical Scribe to assist our primary care providers with clinical documentation. You will document patient encounters and support the care team while gaining valuable experience in a clinical setting.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of medical terminology and must be detail-oriented. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to type at least 70 words per minute. Benefits include medical coverage and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• Prior clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to type 70+ words per minute strongly preferred.
• Willingness to commit to at least 1 year in role.

Responsibilities

• Documenting Patient Encounters, including history and physical exams.
• Requesting and reviewing medical records.
• Placing orders and referrals as needed.

Skills

Advanced listening and communication skills

Strong computer literacy

Fluency in Spanish

Education

Knowledge of medical terminology
