Providence seeks a Clinical Informatics Lab Specialist for a hybrid role in Washington state. You will serve as a subject matter expert for laboratory components of the EHR, CDS, and LIS, partnering with informatics teams to design efficient workflows and drive optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in clinical discipline, information technology/informatics, business, education, management, or related field.
2 years in a role with the same primary duties using a clinical information system in healthcare.
Experience with EHR systems.
Experience with benefits and challenges of adult learning.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and application expertise to enhance laboratory information systems.
Respond to improvement needs in laboratory computer system operations.
Document system design and workflow needs for clinical and laboratory staff.
Act as liaison between laboratory stakeholders and system build teams.
Ensure system design aligns with standardization, integration and efficiency goals, and regulatory requirements.
