Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of clinical/technical application experience.
• Preferred 1-3 years of clinical information systems experience.
• Epic certification/accreditation preferred (may be required to certify within 90 days of hire).
• Valid Driver’s License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Clinical Informatics colleagues to drive strategic goals and vision for the department and CHRISTUS Health.
• Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to develop, test, implement, support, and maintain clinical applications and related processes.
• Provide end user support with upgrades, new releases, and enhanced functionality.
• Assist with communication of system changes, downtime procedures, and new functionality as they relate to the EMR.
• Foster relationships with ministry leadership and departments to ensure effective communication and meet business needs.
• Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, and reporting; troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Communicate status and progress to stakeholders with clear, organized updates.
