Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Tyler, TX is seeking a Clinical Informatics Systems Analyst I to assist in operation and administration of clinical information systems across a large multi-regional health system. You will collaborate with clinical and IT colleagues to optimize workflows, support upgrades, and ensure patient safety through standardized processes.

Epic certification is preferred; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of clinical/technical application experience in lieu of degree, strongly preferred.
• Epic certification/accreditation preferred (may be required within 90 days).
• Must have strong knowledge of clinical information systems and data management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CHRISTUS Health clinicians and informatics teams to drive strategic goals.
• Develop, test, implement, support, and maintain clinical applications to meet operational and technical requirements.
• Provide end user support with upgrades and new functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and escalate complex problems.
• Communicate changes and downtime procedures related to the EMR.
• Foster relationships with ministry leadership and departments to ensure business needs are met.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and status reporting for stakeholders.
