Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Irving, TX seeks a Clinical Informatics Systems Analyst I to support the operation and administration of clinical information systems across a large health system. You will collaborate with clinicians and IT staff to optimize workflows and ensure patient safety.

This exempt role requires ITIL-based incident, change, and problem management, strong communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of clinical/technical application experience.
• 1–3 years preferred in clinical information systems.
• Epic certification preferred; may be required within 90 days of hire.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and data management.

Responsibilities

• Assists in operation and administration of clinical information systems.
• Provides incident, change and problem management support per ITIL.
• Collaborates with clinical informatics and technical teams to optimize workflows.
• Develops, tests, implements, supports and maintains clinical applications.
• Communicates changes to end users and manages downtime procedures.
• Supports upgrades and new releases.
• Performs workflow analysis, data collection and reporting.
