Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Lead Clinical Informatics Systems Adoption Specialist to lead training, onboarding, readiness, and workflow optimization for Oracle Health Cerner across inpatient and ambulatory settings.

The role involves developing provider curricula, competency assessments, and supporting go-live events and stabilization periods, with >50% travel. Collaboration with physician informatics, education teams, and project groups is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, IT, or related field.
• 7 years in clinical informatics or 5 years with physician EHR training and workflow adoption.
• Experience training physicians or AP providers on Oracle Health Cerner workflows is preferred.
• Experience with EHR implementations, upgrades, or go-live support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver role-based Oracle Health Cerner education across clinical roles.
• Coordinate onboarding, readiness activities, and competency validation for specialties.
• Provide advanced end-user support during implementations and upgrades.
• Develop curricula, lesson plans, scenarios, and competency assessments.
• Maintain training content libraries and documentation.
• Track training completion and adoption metrics; report outcomes.
• Collaborate with physician informatics, leadership, and project teams.
• Support adoption of approved workflows and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior adoption specialists and share best practices.
