Job summary

Rutgers University is seeking a Program Support Specialist for the Office of Education at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Education, you will assist with development, implementation and monitoring of educational programs within the department, providing administrative and program support for clerkships, electives, sub-internships and boot camps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus two years of administrative experience; substitution allowed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Access.
• Familiarity with Academic Management Platform and Clinical Activity Tracking System.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support to Clerkship, Electives, Sub-internship and Boot Camp Directors.
• Liaison to students, faculty, residents, and affiliated sites regarding Clerkship activities.
• Maintains and updates AMP syllabus and related course material.
• Serves as first contact for students with issues relating to CATS and AMP.
• Prepares student activity schedules for clinical rotations (150–190 students/year).
