Rutgers University – Newark campus is recruiting an Assistant/Associate Dean for Program Evaluation and Continuous Quality Improvement. The role oversees program evaluation, data collection and analysis to enhance medical education across the continuum, including faculty and resident development programs.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Ed.D. required; focus in educational or psychological measurement preferred.
• MD candidates with relevant experience will be strongly considered and may maintain clinical engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of evaluation of the medical education program, including data collection, analysis, and dissemination of reports.
• Lead efforts to optimize survey and assessment systems for program evaluation and continuous quality improvement.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop a comprehensive learner assessment system for the MD-degree program curriculum.
• Direct continuous monitoring for compliance with LCME accreditation standards; serve on LCME preparation team.
• Develop and implement plans to address potential non-compliance with LCME standards.
• Promote medical education scholarship and seek grants; present work nationally and publish on education.
• Participate in curriculum, student affairs, admissions, and faculty meetings as needed by the Executive Vice Dean.
