Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Medical Scribe to support primary care providers at Oak Street Health. You will observe visits, document encounters, and help with CPT/ICD coding to streamline patient care.

Ideal candidates commit 1–2 years, can work 40 hours weekly in-clinic in Memphis, and demonstrate strong listening, communication, and computer skills; Spanish or other languages are a plus. This role offers comprehensive benefits and structured training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications is required.
• Prior clinical experience or shadowing strongly preferred.
• Prior scribe or transcription experience is optional.

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters in real time in a structured note.
• Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes and prepare after-visit summaries.
• Support daily huddles and clinical documentation reviews.
