Cura Hospitality is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center - Scott in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve residents’ quality of life in line with their goals.

You will educate staff and residents, adhere to dietetics standards, and collaborate with other departments to optimize dining services and nutrition programs.

Formación

• Must pass national exam by CDR or meet eligibility criteria.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years using portfolio development.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilidades

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
