Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center - Scott in Pittsburgh. You will assess patients' nutritional needs, implement interventions, and collaborate with the care team to support residents' quality of life.

This full-time, onsite role requires CDR certification, ongoing continuing education, and state licensure. You will educate staff and participate in continuous quality improvement to ensure high standards of

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and revising continuous quality improvement programs.
