Cura-Hospitality is seeking a registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs, identify interventions, and work with the care team to support residents’ quality of life and goals.

As a RD, you will educate patients/residents, staff, and consultants, adhere to standards of practice, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Passed the national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilités

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies regarding dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
