Cura-Hospitality at John J. Kane Regional Center in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to assess nutritional needs of residents, plan interventions, and support quality of life aligned with patient goals.

You’ll collaborate with the care team to ensure evidence-based dietary care in a long-term care setting. The role requires current licensure, passing the national dietitian exam, ongoing CE, and the ability to educate staff and residents about nutrition and dietetics.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered dietitian with current licensure where applicable.
• Completes required continuing education hours on a 5-year cycle.
• Knowledge of regulations for nutrition assessments and care planning.
• Ability to educate patients, residents, and staff on nutrition.
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' nutritional needs and develop care plans.
• Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and staff.
• Follow standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with dining and care teams to improve quality programs.
