Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center in Pittsburgh. You will assess and address patients'/residents' nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support quality of life in line with patient goals.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the health care team, adhering to practice standards and regulations, and contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• CDR exam pass or eligibility for licensure
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years
• Licensed or certified per state requirements
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
