Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian Specialist to advance clinical nutrition in an acute care hospital. You will deliver MNT, apply the Nutrition Care Process, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers mentorship, structured onboarding, and a clear path to the Clinical Dietitian Specialist track. Open to RD or Clinical Dietitian Specialist level candidates, with a focus on nutrition support (TPN, tube feeding) and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with exam passed or eligible; must pass within 6 months if eligible
• Master's degree by Jan 2024 for new grads; education verified
• Completion of ACEND accredited Dietetics program or equivalent
• State licensure or certification required within 6 months of hire
• Clinical dietetics experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients in acute care and specialized populations
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process to assess, diagnose, and manage nutrition needs
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and outcomes
• Utilize nutrition tools and technology to develop personalized care plans
• Mentor dietetic interns and new graduates, and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Support discharge planning and DME ordering within scope of practice
