Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Dietitian Specialist to deliver MNT and lead nutrition care across acute care settings. You will apply the Nutrition Care Process, provide advanced counseling, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

The role offers mentorship, structured onboarding, and a clear path to Clinical Dietitian Specialist, with opportunities for growth in acute care nutrition and TPN/tube feeding exposure.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• For registration-eligible graduates after Jan 1, 2024, completion of a master’s degree is required.
• Completion of an ACEND accredited program or graduate-level competency-based program.
• State licensure or certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Clinical dietetics experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) as an RD/RDN to patients in acute care and specialized populations.
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process to assess, diagnose, and manage complex nutrition needs in a hospital setting.
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and patient outcomes.
• Utilize nutrition tools and technology to develop personalized care plans.
• Support and mentor dietetic interns and new graduate dietitians.
• Implement evidence-based nutrition practices in collaboration with care teams.
• Manage nutrition care across the continuum including discharge planning.
