Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian Specialist to advance nutrition care in an acute care setting. This role offers mentorship and a clear path to Clinical Dietitian Specialist, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance where applicable.

The position involves delivering MNT, applying the NCP, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in Billings, MT. On-site, day shifts with limited weekend work are typical.

Qualificações

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or registration eligible.
• If registered eligible, must pass the RD exam within 6 months of hire.
• Masters degree in Dietetics required for registration eligible graduates after Jan 1, 2024.
• Completion of ACEND accredited program (DIDP/DI/CoP) or advanced competency program.
• State licensure or certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) as an RD/RDN in acute care and specialized populations.
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process to assess and manage complex nutrition needs.
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and outcomes.
• Use clinical tools (indirect calorimetry, glucometers) to tailor care plans.
• Support and mentor dietetic interns and new graduates.
• Implement evidence-based nutrition practices in collaboration with care teams.
• Coordinate nutrition care across the continuum, including discharge planning.
