Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of business and management principles.
• Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
• Ability to establish department goals that support the strategic plan.
• Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
• Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develops policies and procedures for department operations and ensures compliance.
• Manages scheduling, staffing, and workflow; develops department policies.
• Oversees daily, weekly, and monthly OR, procedural suite, and ambulatory surgery schedules.
• Analyzes scheduling data and metrics to identify trends, improve efficiency, and reduce delays.
• Acts as the primary contact for surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia to confirm, change, or cancel cases.
• Defines goals and objectives for clinical divisions and satellite offices regarding growth and revenue.
