• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of business and management principles.
• Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.

• Ability to exercise sound judgment in critical decisions.
• Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develops policies and procedures for department operations and ensures compliance.
• Develops and maintains systems for managing and reporting the department’s activities.
• Maintains liaison with faculty, staff, and employees interfacing within the department.
• Provides leadership in business strategies and tactics to support department goals and health system plans.
• Guides managers in developing skills and implementing performance management practices.
• Supports professional development of the workforce.
• Monitors staff and physician satisfaction.
• Oversees clinical division schedules, patient access, and workflow optimization.
• Ensures compliance with JACHO/licensure requirements and university policies.
