Mercy is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead nursing care for patients and families, directing RNs, LPNs, students, and support staff on the unit. This role ensures regulatory compliance and quality care, while supporting professional development and performance reviews.
Ideal candidates will have a nursing degree, an active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, and at least 2 years in a charge/clinical coordinator role, with BLS and strong communication skills.

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for professional nursing care for patients and their families by direction, supervision and example. Provides direction to Registered Nurses, Licensed practical Nurses, students and non-professional nursing personnel in providing direct patient care. Responsible for operation of the Unit ensuring that all regulatory requirements and standards are being fulfilled. Participates in the education and development of personnel and performance evaluation as well as other administrative duties as designated by the Director of the unit. Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, be dedicated to the provision of quality patient care and use sound judgment in decision making. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
