Job summary

Concentra in California is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to join our patient care team. You will perform routine medical procedures under the direct supervision of the treating clinician and help deliver a positive, efficient patient experience.

You will conduct DOT and non-DOT drug testing, take vital signs, assist during exams, perform rapid screening tests, manage front/back office tasks, and ensure accurate documentation while upholding HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least six months medical assistant experience.
• Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.
• Knowledge of occupational medicine requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients and take vital signs.
• Perform rapid screening tests.
• Assist providers during examinations.
• Handle front/back office duties and documentation.
• Maintain equipment and supplies.
