United Urology Group seeks a Clinical Patient Support Representative who combines Medical Assistant duties with front desk responsibilities. You will work with clinical staff to ensure smooth operations across offices.

Role demands five years in front office and clinical settings, strong medical terminology knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Travel to other sites within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years front office and clinical experience, preferably in Urology.
• Proficient knowledge of Medical Terminology; ICD-10 and CPT-4 Codes.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilization of equipment.
• Greet patients and visitors, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing questions.
• Collect payments at check-in and enter demographics into PM/EHR.
• Obtain and scan driver’s licenses and insurance cards.
• Ensure referrals are obtained and linked in the EMR.
• Assist patients with Phreesia registration.
