Job summary

United Urology Group is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to provide exceptional patient service and support for the office and staff. You will schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and manage patient data in the Practice Management and EHR systems.

The role requires strong communication, two years of front office and customer service experience, and HIPAA compliance. Travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of front office experience.
• 2 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9, and CPT-4 Codes.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and assist with testing as directed by physician.
• Collect co-pays and past balances at check-in and enter into Practice Management.
• Verify patient demographics and clinical information in EHR.
• Scan IDs and insurance cards into the system.
• Coordinate referrals and schedule follow-up procedures.
• Travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region.
