Job summary

United Urology Group is seeking a Clinical Patient Support Representative to blend Medical Assistant duties with Front Desk responsibilities. You will work with clinical staff to ensure efficient clinic operations, including patient flow, documentation, and billing support.

The role requires strong medical terminology knowledge, patient-facing skills, and the ability to travel to other sites within the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years front office and clinical experience, preferably in Urology.
• Proficient knowledge of Medical Terminology; ICD-10 and CPT-4 Codes.
• Familiar with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilization of equipment.
• Greet patients and visitors at the front desk; schedule appointments.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing questions.
• Collect payments at time of check-in.
• Enter patient demographics into Practice Management and EHR.
