Job summary

Brainlab seeks a Biomedical Engineer (Clinical Specialist) to provide on-site consulting to physicians and OR staff, evaluating Brainlab products during surgeries and optimizing usage. You will manage installations, resolve product issues via Salesforce, and support Go Live launches while collaborating with regional teams.

The role requires a Biomedical Engineering degree, 1–3 years in technical healthcare support, and 1–2 years in sales.

Qualifications

B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, or Nursing required.
1-3 years minimum experience in a technical support role preferably for a healthcare company or Provider.
1-2 years minimum sales experience with healthcare company preferred.
Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy and medical terminology preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Self-motivated, detail oriented and a proven history of ability to make independent decisions.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site consulting and guidance to physicians and OR personnel during surgery to maximize Brainlab product usage.
Manage and maintain install base, including basic 3rd party integrations.
Analyze and resolve product issues via Salesforce with detailed analysis and documentation.
Contribute to quality improvements by recommending product modifications.
Provide clinical case coverage and support for Complex Cases and Go Live launches.
