Qualifications

• Experience in clinic, home, or school programs is highly desirable.
• At least 1 year providing direct services to children with autism.
• Experience training parents and supervising staff in intervention protocols.
• Willingness to learn early learning curricula and behavioral principles.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.
• Assist lead therapist with graphs, data summaries, and calculations.
• Write progress notes, update programs, and create session materials.
• Participate in baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions.
• Prepare and clean up session activities and equipment.
• Assist with protocol dissemination, reviews, and staff/parent training.
• Use safe handling and guidance procedures with clients.
• Provide direct client care following behavioral protocols; one-on-one or group.
• Shadow/cotreat/treat 2–4 hours per week.
• Report parent concerns to the lead therapist.
• Report suspected child abuse within 24 hours.
• Travel to and from various locations as needed.
