Job summary

ABA Support Services in Pennsylvania is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician/Direct Therapist to organize data systems, assist with behavioral assessments and program implementation, and support clinical activities. The role includes leading duties during temporary absences and participating in parent training and sessions across home, school, and community settings.

Requirements include transport, daily email checks, and experience with children with Autism.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical/home/school settings is desirable.
• 1 year direct services to children with Autism or related programs preferred.
• Willingness to learn early learning curriculum and behavioral principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to work with children across functioning levels.
• Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.
• Assist lead therapist in maintaining up-to-date graphs and data summaries.
• Write progress notes, program updates, and create session materials.
• Participate in baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions.
• Prepare and clean up session-related activities and equipment.
• Disseminate protocols and provide staff/parent training as needed.
• Ensure safe handling and guidance when transporting or working with clients.
• Provide direct client care following prescribed behavioral programs (one-on-one or group).
• Shadow or co-treat and treat a minimum of 2–4 hours per week.
• Report parent concerns to the lead therapist on the case.
• Report suspected child abuse within 24 hours of incident.
• Report to Supervising Behavior Analyst and HR on issues; supervise personnel on caseloads if required.
