Job summary

Ability-Builders-Consulting-Co. is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician/ Direct Therapist to organize data collection systems, assist with assessments, and support clinical activities.

You will participate in parent training and act as lead therapist in their absence, with responsibilities across data handling and session delivery. The role requires 1 year of relevant experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in home, clinic, or school

Qualifications

• 1 year clinical/home/school experience providing direct services to children with autism.
• Willing to learn early learning curriculum and behavioral principles.
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to work with children across functioning levels and in home, school, and community environments.
• Motivated with a strong work ethic and quality-focused approach.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility and patience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.
• Assist lead therapist with data graphs and summaries.
• Write progress notes and update programs and materials.
• Participate in baseline, treatment, and parent training sessions.
• Prepare and clean up session-related activities and materials.
• Supervise and train staff/parents as needed.
• Transport and handle clients according to safety procedures.
• Provide direct client care following behavioral protocols.
