Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a part-time Clinical/Administrative Associate to provide both clinical and administrative support on the unit in Winchester, MA. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, with CNA or nursing student clinical rotation preferred and at least three months of clinical care experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or nursing student with clinical rotation preferred.
• Minimum three months clinical care experience.
• Graduate of Winchester Hospital's Clinical Associate Training Program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative assistance on the unit.
• Perform basic procedures to support patient care, comfort and safety.
• Assist with ADLs, ambulating patients, bed-making, transporting patients.
• Collect/label/transport specimens, obtain vital signs, and perform EKGs.
• Welcome and orient patients and family members to the environment.
• Maintain accurate medical charts and complete forms for daily use.
• Copy and fax documents to expedite care across departments.
