Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• CNA certification, nursing student with one med-surgical rotation, three months clinical care experience, or CATP completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Reposition and ambulate patients.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds.
• Assist in transporting patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Collect, label and transport specimens.
• Retrieve and sign out blood products.
• Accurately perform point-of-care testing.
• Obtain vital signs and weights.
• Maintain intake and output measurements.
• Remove Foley catheters and saline locks.
