Job description

Clinical Administrative Support Specialist - Part Time

Job Reporting Location: Riverside, CA

Reports To: Mobile Healthcare Supervisor

Department: Mobile Healthcare

Status: Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:

Support the Mobile Health Care team by providing clinical support for the PAT process, student health coverage for local school districts, special events support, community education, and multiple outreach programs. These various duties include document preparation and review as set forth in the protocols, verifying adequate supplies are on hand, administering drug tests per DOT standards and other related pre-screenings, ensuring candidate/employee safety, and providing onsite patient care within the scope of practice based on certification levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete training to comprehend the PAT process.
  • Complete training to comprehend the individual school district process for health aides.
  • Complete training and understanding of Drug Screening practices to obtain clearance.
  • Complete and maintain CPR training certification and any relevant community specialty outreach training.
  • Ensure that all supplies are ready and available for assigned events.
  • Review the documents completed for accuracy.
  • Administer drug tests as per protocol when drug screening is required for events or requested.
  • Provide support to the PAT Administrator as a spotter to ensure candidates/employees perform the PAT safely.
  • Maintain all certification related to Drug Screening and clinical skills (CPR, C.N.A, MA, etc.).
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Comply with information systems security policies and procedures, attend security training, and report security problems.
  • Drive company vehicles and provide map-reading support throughout Southern California.
  • Ensure that all related documents for various tasks are accurate and signed by appropriate parties.
  • Coordinate with HR regarding the scheduling of those testing, including dates, times, and locations.
  • Use and operate standard office and medical equipment appropriately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to successfully pass the Physical Agility Test.
  • Good physical stamina, endurance, and body condition are required for frequent walking, standing, lifting, carrying, and balancing.
  • Must be able to lift, drag, hoist, and carry different types of equipment and other objects.
  • Constantly required: Hearing/listening, clear speech, simple touching, walking (inside and outside), pushing, pulling, reaching, sitting, driving ambulance, and seeing.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Licensing/Certification:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), Current MA or C.N.A. certificate.
  • Valid CA Driver’s license.
  • Driving record in compliance with AMR policy regarding insurability.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 months or more of clinical, front/back-office experience. Recommendations from program/course instructors are accepted if the candidate ranked in the top percentile of students who completed the program.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills; ability to work with Oracle, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word; ability to perform basic vitals; strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Salary Range: $16.50 - $18.00 DOE (This rate applies to 12-hour shifts).
