Job summary

US Renal Care is seeking a Unit Clerk to join our clinic team in Toledo. You will greet patients, answer phones, and assist with transportation while supporting accurate records and efficient operations.

You will maintain patient charts, enter charges, and prepare reports for regulatory agencies, ensuring supplies and lab coordination as needed. Prior healthcare admin experience and proficiency with MS Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant healthcare experience preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in administrative position preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word and Excel).
• Ability to organize time and tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in USRC applications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and visitors, answering phones, and assisting with transportation.
• Maintain and prepare patient records and charts for treatments.
• Enter charges, prepare billing and attendance logs.
• Prepare forms and reports for government agencies.
• Ensure adequate supplies and inventory; reorder as needed.
• Prepare lab slips and direct labs to the appropriate laboratory.
