Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a Clinic Support Associate to handle front desk duties and assist clinicians, ensuring a welcoming patient experience. You will manage scheduling, EMR documentation, and communications with providers and patients.

Ideal candidates have medical office experience, strong computer and customer service skills, and a team-oriented attitude. This is a long-term, hands-on role in a fast-growing therapy practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred, with familiarity in EMR systems a plus.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service-oriented role is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Suite is required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers, co-workers, and management, while calmly and effectively resolving client concerns

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients with a warm, inviting smile and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Deliver high-level customer service by ensuring patient satisfaction and optimizing provider time.
• Manage scheduling operations and maximize provider availability and room usage.
• Maintain on-time patient flow by tracking arrivals and delays and notifying clinicians.
• Receive and process incoming faxes promptly and document communications.
• Enter patient data and treatment information accurately in the EMR system.
• Generate reports, logs and lists with a high level of accuracy.
• Ensure co-pays are tallied and reconciled and manage credit extensions to patients.
• Assist in setting up new and returning patient cases in TheraOffice with demographic and insurance data.
• Answer calls from physicians, hospitals, and patients with exemplary service.
