Job summary

HCA Healthcare in North Carolina is seeking a Licensed Clinic Supervisor to provide clerical expertise and support high-quality, efficient patient care. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with a day shift and no nights, weekends, or holidays.

You will help establish goals, supervise staff, and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating with medical staff to deliver exceptional patient services and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or a degree or diploma from an accredited school of practical or vocation nursing is required.
• Current and Active Medical Assistant certification or active LPN/LVN license is required; CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• May have direct patient care duties.
• Establish, implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems for the assigned clinical areas.
• Participate in development and implementation of clinical plans.
• Select, train/orient, and supervise departmental personnel; assign work and manage daily operations.
• Evaluate performance and recommend merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Resolve problems in clinical areas and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor clinical expenditures to stay within budget.
• Serve as liaison between clinic and external agencies.
• Work with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and services.
• Participate in professional development to keep current health care trends.
