Job summary

Olympic Medical Center in Washington state is seeking a Registration Clerk for on-site positions at our Sequim and Port Angeles clinics. You will greet patients, collect demographics, process registrations, and handle copays with a focus on compassionate customer service.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry in the EHR system, clear communication of policies, and coordination with Central Access and Clinic Back Office teams to keep patient flow smooth and efficient.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Customer Service or hospitality experience preferred; knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service by employing OMC’s C.A.R.E. standards.
• Greets all patients and visitors to our clinics in Sequim and Port Angeles, with compassion and empathy.
• Collects and accurately enters into EHR patient demographic data.
• Explains OMC/OMP policies and procedures necessary for registration to patients as necessary.
• Collects copays and payments according to OMC finance policies.
• Maintains a smooth flow of patients through the registration process and informs patients of delays.
• Works closely with Central Access staff and Clinic Back Office staff to ensure a positive patient experience.

PAY RANGE: $21.68 - $32.01

UNION: SEIU 1199-Service and Dietary

SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS/PREMIUMS: Weekend & Holiday Shifts: Yes

Shift Differentials: Evening - $3.00/hour Night - $5.00/hour Weekend - $4.50/hour

Premiums: Per Diem - 15% (on rate of pay, in lieu of benefits)

Lead - $3.25/hour

On-Call - $3.00/hour

Preceptor - $1.50/hour

Trainer - $1.50/hour

Job Description

• Works closely and collaboratively with Central Access staff and Clinic Back Office staff to make every patient’s experience at OMP a positive one.
