Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS for healthcare provider certified or obtained within three months.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire.

• Maintains a high degree of confidentiality for patient information.
• Displays honesty, integrity, and caring aligned with Trinity Health values.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors with a professional demeanor.
• Checks in patients and ensures admitting is efficient and compliant.
• Answers calls and directs them appropriately.
• Schedules appointments according to office guidelines.
• Obtains accurate patient and insurance information, collects copays and deductibles.
• Copies/scans patient documents into the EMR system.
