Job summary

Regional Family Health in Manchester, IA, seeks a receptionist for 34 hours per week at the Manchester clinic, with some time in Hopkinton. Base pay is $17.93–$22.13 per hour. The role includes welcoming patients, scheduling, registration, and billing support as part of RFH’s patient-service team.

You will greet patients, answer calls, verify data, process payments and maintain compliance with clinical guidelines. Training provided, with opportunities across RFH sites.

Qualifications

• High School graduate required, Associates Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical office preferred.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Skilled in computer use, communication, and decision making.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and provide courteous, caring assistance.
• Schedule, cancel and reschedule patient appointments.
• Register patients and verify demographic and insurance data.
• Enter demographic information and scan insurance data for records and claims.
• Check-out patients, collect payments and balance accounts.
• Respond to questions about accounts and direct to Billing for uninsured patients.
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, OSHA, Safety and Risk Management guidelines.
• Provide coverage for RFH Clinic Receptionists in satellite clinics.
