Job summary

Mass General Brigham invites applications for Clinic/Practice Assistant positions across North Shore specialty practices. You will greet patients, assist with check-in/out, schedule appointments, and help coordinate referrals and tests.

This onsite role emphasizes patient care, organization, and teamwork within Pulmonary, Gastroenterology, OB/GYN, Urology practices across Salem, Swampscott, Danvers and Newburyport.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare office exposure helpful.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming patient experience by greeting patients, answering questions, and assisting with check-in and check-out.
• Schedule appointments, coordinate patient information, and maintain accurate records.
• Route calls, coordinate prescriptions, test results, referrals, and prior authorizations.
• Manage documents, process forms and payments, and maintain schedules and records.
• Support providers and staff to deliver a smooth patient experience.
• Assist with specialty-specific administrative tasks as needed.
