Job summary

Barrett Hospital in Dillon, MT seeks an experienced Clinic Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of the Clinic and Specialty Clinic, lead the Patient Service Coordinator Team and Clinical Supervisor, and coordinate patient flow, access, and staff performance.

You will manage budgets, improve workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety and accountability through LEAN practices and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field required; master’s degree preferred.
• Three to five years of healthcare management experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, billing, LEAN processes, and revenue cycle preferred.
• Strong communication skills with proven success in budgets and staff engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day clinic operations support and acts as liaison for operations, personnel, and patient experience.
• Participates in recruiting, hiring, payroll, onboarding/termination, and performance evaluations for PSC Team, Clinical Supervisor, and Referral/VA Specialist.
• Resolves administrative problems and maintains professional communications for high morale and community engagement.
• Develops and maintains patient flow processes coordinating with hospital practices and revenue cycle experience.
• Reviews volume metrics monthly with administrative leadership and drives improvement activities.
• Monitors operations, programs, and facilities to ensure compliance and safety.
• Manages clinic inventory, supply ordering, and coordinates with Materials Management to reduce waste and maintain accurate stock.
• Leads process improvements related to clinic safety events.
• Under Director of Operations, establishes and updates clinic policies and procedures; edits as necessary.
• Represents Clinic in relationships with other healthcare organizations, government agencies, payers, and interdepartmental teams.
• Maintains professional affiliations and keeps up with healthcare trends and developments.
• Oversees emergency preparedness and staff safety compliances.
• Assists with analytical activities and special projects related to ACO/APM relationships.
