Job summary

Barrett Hospital & HealthCare in Dillon, MT seeks a Clinic Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of Clinic & Specialty Clinic, lead the Patient Service Coordinator Team, and ensure smooth patient flow and revenue cycle alignment.

This role partners with leadership to set goals, manage budgets, implement LEAN processes, and maintain compliance, while fostering a culture of safety and excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and a bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of healthcare management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, billing, LEAN processes, and revenue cycle preferred.
• Strong communication skills with proven success in budget management and staff engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provides Clinic based practice support, acting as the day-to-day liaison for operations, personnel, and patient experience.
• Participates with recruiting, hiring, payroll, onboarding/termination, development and performance evaluations of PSC Team, Clinical Supervisor, and Referral/VA Specialist.
• Resolves administrative problems and maintains communication with staff and patients to ensure high morale and community engagement.
• Develops and maintains patient flow processes coordinating with hospital practices and revenue cycle.
• Monitors volume metrics and performance drivers; drives process improvements.
• Oversees clinic safety, compliance, and facility operations; initiates changes as needed.
• Manages clinic inventory and supply ordering; collaborates with Materials Management to optimize efficiency and costs.
• Leads process improvement related to clinic safety events and policy adherence.
• Represents the Clinic to health care organizations, government agencies, third-party payers, and interdepartmental teams.
