Job summary

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES INC. is seeking a Clinic Supervisor to coordinate day-to-day clinic activities, oversee front and back office staff, and ensure efficient patient flow in a Federally Qualified Health Center environment.

The role requires leadership, strong knowledge of clinic operations, and adherence to HIPAA and safety standards. You will work with providers to maintain schedules, support care coordination, and drive performance improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Experience in healthcare clinic operations preferred.
• Experience leading a team and coordinating staff.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day clinic activities, patient flow, staffing, and scheduling coverage.
• Provide supervision and direction to front and back office staff.
• Support onboarding, training, and coaching for staff; escalate employee relations as needed.
• Monitor timekeeping, attendance, and leave information; route discrepancies to management.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and licensing requirements.
• Support integrated care workflows across medical and behavioral health teams.
• Maintain schedules, patient access, and customer service standards.
• Assist with quality improvement activities (HEDIS, UDS, population health).
• Participate in safety programs and staff development initiatives.
• Promote confidentiality and professionalism in handling information.
