The role requires strong leadership, attention to HIPAA, and a calm, proactive approach in a fast-paced healthcare environment. On-site work with a patient-focused, courteous service culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, primary care practice, or similar healthcare setting.
• Experience supervising, coaching, or directing Front Desk and Medical Assistant staff.
• Knowledge of patient scheduling, registration, copays, and insurance verification.
• Understanding HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Front Desk and Medical Assistant staff and monitor daily responsibilities.
• Oversee patient flow from check-in to check-out, address bottlenecks and delays.
• Ensure proper collection of copays, deductibles, and other patient-responsibility amounts.
• Coordinate communication between staff and providers and ensure clinic policies are followed.
• Assist with onboarding, attendance, and performance feedback for clinic staff.
• Provide hands-on leadership in a fast-paced healthcare environment and uphold quality service.
