MSU Health Care is seeking a Clinic Coordinator to support daily operations, scheduling, and patient registration. You will maintain accurate records, liaise with patients and clinical staff, and contribute to efficient, high-quality care delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Two to three years of college in healthcare, science, or business school with relevant coursework.
• One to three years of related and progressively more responsible healthcare experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records and electronic scheduling systems.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting and healthcare quality programs.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing and database software.

Aufgaben

• Coordinates, tracks and follows up on outbound clinic referrals; evaluates referral flow and reports to management with change suggestions.
• Manages quality projects to ensure appropriate follow up, patient safety, and incentive returns.
• Attends quality training and meetings as needed.
• Assists in data collection for quality assurance projects.
• Maintains master and daily schedules with multiple changes.
• Develops and mentors staff to best-practice workflows to enhance performance and patient care.
• Maintains attendance tracking workflow and proactive tracking approaches.
• Assists in managing chronic disease registries and uses standing orders for follow up, testing, and referrals.
• Generates reports on clinic productivity and provider compliance; reports trends.
• Acts as liaison with patients, clinic staff, MSU Health Care, and department.
• Assists in policies and procedures development and implementation.
• Prepares financial or other reports for Health Care and the department.
• Ensures health and safety standards compliance with rules and regulations.
• Performs duties to facilitate clinic operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
